Our Story
Stockley Equestrian has been the tack shop of choice for riders in Littlehampton West Sussex for nearly 25 years.
We offer a comprehensive range of horse products that have been carefully selected to provide everything you require for horse and rider at a price you can afford. All the staff share a passion for the outdoors and for customer service.

We have a great choice of footwear including wellies and country boots as well as walking boots in our stores in Midhurst and Littlehampton. Friendly Staff
With a team of over 14 you may not have met us all but you can be sure of a smiley face whichever store you visit! Not everyone works on the shop floor but our work ethic is the same and we all chip in! The customer always comes first so on a busy day even the MD can be found helping our customers with a purchase. All the staff have a keen interest in the outdoors and although we don’t all have horses our passion for the Countryside is felt by all.
“There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes” is the way we live, work and play!
Knowledgeable Staff
Our staff are fun and friendly but they are also knowledgeable, professional & efficient so we can pride ourselves on having the best customer service around. With the longest standing member of staff coming up to her 10th year at Stockley there is a lot of loyalty which only comes from a happy business.
The staff have regular training across all the products from walking boots to Horse rugs, Horse feed to wellies and riding hats to Electric fencing! Got a really taxing question? Just ask, we have a supplier library of over 200 companies across several industries so in the unlikely event we can’t answer your question, we’re pretty sure we’ll know someone who will!
Local Knowledge
Both stores are located in West Sussex, either side of the South Downs. A warehouse shop in the coastal town of Littlehampton and a High Street shop in Midhurst, the heart of the South Downs National Park. The staff that work in the relevant stores live locally and in some cases have lived nearby their whole lives. As a result the local knowledge they have to share with the customers is second to none.
Whether you would like advice on the nearest Tourist Information for local walks and sights or you’ve just moved to the area and would like to check out the local riding schools – look no further! The staff at the stores will be more than happy to help. We have notice boards in both stores which are always full of local competitions and events across Sussex including Goodwood racecourse, Cowdray Polo and Local Country Fairs.

Wide Range of Outdoor Clothing
At Stockley Outdoor in Midhurst or Littlehampton we have a fantastic array of goods at discount prices. Our shops are packed with waterproof jackets and leisurewear. So whether you are looking for a traditional country style waterproof coat, or need a technical outdoor jacket for your Duke of Edinburgh trip or you just require a good value waterproof coat to keep you dry when walking the dog we will have the right one for you.
And the range doesn’t stop with outdoor wear. Our outdoor footwear section is equally wide-ranging with some 30 styles of wellington boots starting at under £10 to over £100. Alongside these are a huge range of leather country boots and a formidable assortment of great brand hiking boots and shoes from Hi Tec and Regatta.
For Duke of Edinburgh we have a new collection of camping and walking accessories that appears to grow year on year. There are sleeping bags and mats, map cases, walking poles and many other expedition accessories.

I use Stockley because I like to try and support local businesses. We used to visit Stockley in Littlehampton and were thrilled to learn that a shop was coming to Midhurst. All the staff there could not be more helpful, if they don’t have it in stock they will order it in for you. Recently I have needed some advice on giving my mare a calmer to help her, the help I got was amazing! So for an allround lovely service I would recommend Stockley all the way!!
